Student Exhibition: August 11, 6 PM
Explore the world Japanese ink art in a one-week workshop that exposes you to the fundamentals of the traditional and modern art forms of sumi-e, calligraphy, fish printing and more. Learn from professional working artists, including master calligrapher Masako Inkyo, sumi-e artist Ayakoh Furukawa and printmaker Joe Mullins, as you practice traditional techniques and methods and make your own unique work. Exhibit your favorite pieces in a student exhibition open to family and friends.
Tuition: $300/$250 Japan Society members
